TEAM REGISTRATION PROCESS

Please note that team registrations close on Wednesday 10th February 2010 at 12pm. Late entries will incur a $100 administration fee.

Please contact Round the Bays on 04 389 0230 or hamisha@sportwellington.org.nz if you would like to pay for your team by invoice.

Key Points for Team Entries:

Entry for the Round the Bays event this year will be a simple process with all team participants entering the same way as an individual participant, with the opportunity to choose the team you want to join at the start of the registration process.
A password, set up by the team manager will generally be required to enter into a team.

Each participant within your organisation or team will be able to go to the public online registration page and register exactly the same as everybody else, except they need to check the box ‘I would like to search for an existing team’ at the start of the registration process. They must list the name of the team they wish to join, select the team, and finally enter the password if the Team Manager has created one.

Creating a Team:

 

1:     Nominate a Team Manager. This person will take control of managing the team registrations and collection         of the race packs.                

 

2:     To register and create a Team Manager, go to the online registration page. Select the check box ‘I would              like to create a new team’.     

 

3:     Enter; Team name, Team password (optional), Team Managers Name, Team Managers Email, and Team         Managers Password.


4:     Complete registration form.   


Team Password
A Team Password is recommended, as it gives the team manager control over who is eligible to enter the team. If you would like an open team that anyone can enter (great for radio stations, gyms etc) a password is not necessary.  


Team Managers Password
This gives the team manager access to the team list where they are able to view registrations, remove registrations and edit team details. This can be accessed by clicking on the Team Managers link on the Round the Bays website.
 

You have now created a new team. It is time for the team members to register:

 

1:     Select ‘I would like to search for an existing team’

 

2:     Enter the team name you are looking to join and click the tick button.

 

3:     Select the team in the drop down bar and click the tick button.

 

4:     If a password is required enter the password and click join.


5:     Complete registration form. All registration categories (Individual/Family/Half Marathon) can be part of a              team.    


Payment Methods:


There are two ways a team can pay;


PAY AS INDIVIDUALS:


Each individual in the team pays their own entry fee as they register. This is the default

payment method when entering a registration. The other option is;


PAY AS A TEAM:


If you would like to make one payment as a team, this can be arranged by calling

(04 389 0230) or emailing roundthebays@sportwellington.org.nz and we will set this up for you. By

doing this you can also discuss the option of invoicing as a payment method.

        

Remember, all team members MUST know:
  • The exact wording in which you’d like your organisation to be displayed (eg, Les Mills)
  • The password (optional) set by the Team Manager to join a team.
  • The race pack pick up point. Team members cannot individually pick up their race pack. THE ENTIRE TEAM'S RACE PACKS MUST BE COLLECTED AT THE SAME TIME. It is advised that the team manager goes to the selected pick up point to collect all race packs. Maybe with a helping hand from some of the team members.
