How many people can I enter in a team?
You can enter as many as you would like.
Do we need a Team Manager?
Yes you will. The team manager will set up your team online and if paying as a team, they will be responsible for organising this.
What does the Team Manager have to do?
It is up to the Team Manager to inform those who want to enter their team the following 3 points:-
- Organisation name
- Team name
- Race pack collection point
- Password
How much does it cost for team members?
Prices are the same as if you were entering as an individual.
Half-marathon run - $35 ($5 discount for Athletic NZ members)
Family - $45
Adults - $18
Children (under 16) - $10
Children under 5 - FREE
How can I pay for my team entry?
There are 3 ways to do this:
Credit Card (online)
Invoice from Sport Wellington. (This must be arranged directly with Sport Wellington and paid prior to race day).
Bank Transfer
When do team entries close?
Team's must be entered before Wednesday 10th February. After this date there will be an additional administration fee of $100.
Does each team member also have to have an individual entry form filled out?
No they do not, but every member must be made aware of the terms and conditions of entry before their name is entered into the team.
How will we receive our race numbers?
All race information, race numbers and transponders, will need to be collected by the team organiser and distributed accordingly. Collection will be from the location that was indicated on the entry form. It is their responsibility to ensure every team member has the correct race number and corresponding transponder.
There may be cases in which we deliver race packs and information to the Team Organiser directly, however this will only apply if it is the only option for your larger team. Simply email events@sportwellington.org.nz by Monday 8th February and let us know.
NB. Please be patient with our staff who are working at Les Mills Extreme as large teams will take some time to process. If you wish to drop off the team list and collect packs later in the day, feel free to do so. Thank you.
Can individual team members collect their race packs?
NO. It is up to the Team Manager to collect all of the race packs at the same time, from the same race pack collection point.
How are the winning teams established?
The first, second and third placed teams are determined by the 5 fastest runners for each team. The team with the fastest 5 runners overall will be named as the winning team, and second and third will be decided in the same way.
