Brendan Foot Supersite Round the Bays are on a mission to curb waste production as we reach towards our waste minimisation goal of becoming a carbon neutral event by 2025!
As we work towards a circular event, Brendan Foot Supersite Round the Bays have partnered with Non-Stop Solutions, supported by Wellington City Council, to limit waste produced on-site by prioritising reusable products.
What does this mean? Our hospitality sites and food vendors are going single use free. Single use plates, bowls, cups and cutlery (including compostable and recyclable items) will be replaced with reusable alternatives which will be available onsite for you to use.
We are encouraging all participants and spectators of the event to do their part in helping to make Brendan Foot Supersite Round the Bays a more sustainable event, by bringing along their own reusable items. For more information, please read the Reuse Guidelines at Round the Bays 2023.
